The Rivers of London series. Haven't finished it yet. It is just so dwalsnvfkenvnsdvnnnlkd I can't.

There are cheap moments, sure, and I'm fairly certain the vestigia came at least partly from this flash-and-screechy-sound special film effect, but I can overlook these kinds of flaws.

Also, I love how the author easily writes both white and black/mixed race characters and it comes out good and natural.
