bonus points must go to the illustrator, who perfectly captured the book's essence with his excellent cover. because i don't know about you, but when i think 'heterosexual christian values,' i picture men in secluded forests leaning over eachother wearing tight-fitting flannel shirts

Yeah, nothing creepy about that looming flannel-clad daddy figure at all, no. D:

Also, bonus points for the axe there. A nice pointer to the "shaping" in the title. It's all about the gentle touch.

it is not about intimidation! it's about MASCULINITY. it's about being able to USE THE IRON CARESS OF THIS MANLY HAND-AXE TO DELIVER BLOW AFTER BLOW UNTIL YOU GET THAT WOOD. i think we can both agree that there is nothing gay about any of that!
