In Norway you can dial 911 and 999 to reach the emergency services, though our real numbers are 110 (Fire), 112 (police) and 113 (Medical)...

The film widely regarded as the first real documentary was scripted, because the dude who filmed it managed to break the first film so he went back to film it again this time with a script.

When it comes to historical polar exploration films, the one rule you need to remember is: The American always lies, the only time they didn't lie as such it was a Norwegian pilot and the American explorer spent the whole trip being drunk.

The election in Norway is going on right now, and we are in high danger of getting into a more conservative leadership than we have had in ages. (which isn't really that dangerous, nothing much will change) the odds are also in favour of us getting our second female Prime Minister. Women have also been allowed to vote for 100 years this year.

Directly translated from Norwegian to English Polar Bear becomes Ice Bear...

That is the stuff I can remember at the top of my head right now.

Australia's having an election right now as well, and the (more) conservative party looks like it has a good chance of getting in as well :( No chance of us getting a second female Prime Minister this time though, lolololol. *Has sudden fantasy of Julie Bishop backstabbing Tony Abbott if the Liberals get in ala Gillard * Rudd. Is not unpleased with this scenario as long as Turnbull takes over afterwards*
