Like I know what it means now since I watch so much British stuff, but I don't really get where the phrase comes from.

I've heard 'pull the other one' and I've heard 'I'll be there with bells on', but I've never heard 'pull the other one, it's got bells on', hmmm.

Pretty sure it refers to the bell pads that Morris dancers wear around their knees.
