I'm not sure which idea is funnier...that the BBC, who aim Doctor Who at the same general audience, would panic if they were gay (and that the parents of that same general audience would be up in arms over it, despite never raising a peep over all the gay in Who), or that the Arthurian purists would be more upset by the actors being in a relationship than by, say, Sir Pellinor being killed before the Questing Beast was ever seen, or Mordred being utterly unrelated to Arthur and Morgana, or that Arthur and Morgana were raised as adopted siblings for years before it was revealed that they were biological siblings, or...
