Homestuck is great if read sequentially though. Periodic updates are lousy with pacing, yes, but if you read it in book form, or go back and read an entire act, the pacing is just fine.

I agree. I found out about it on my own, read at my own pace, with no hurry or pressure to "get to the trolls already!", and it was fantastic.

And to claify, Hussie has said this was his intention. I mean, you can love it or hate it, but his pacing is deliberate.
