Again, it's a personal decision but I think it's a good thing people are being a bit honest because it's not all roses and sunshine teaching abroad. I can't speak on Dave's ESL, but I've had some friends that love it and some that had a lot of problems.

Well it isn't so much talking about the reality, but people just being assholes.

Like someone will ask an honest question (ex. Should I worry about leaving my laptop in my apartment?) and someone has an asshole answer (ex. Maybe you should leave the computer at home and get out into the real world). And then someone else will start fighting with the asshole. And the thread just devolves into that.

So I am terrified to ask question because I don't want to be lambasted by those assholes.
