Good luck, anon. I hate to think of replacing my pickup (I bought it new ten years ago), but I keep thinking...I want something more gas efficient, if nothing else (If you're gonna talk the Green Talk, you gotta be prepared to do the walk, too). Unfortunately, the cars I do like for gas conservation are so far out of my price range, they'd cost almost as much as my house. And the only other cars I like are the hotrod gas guzzlers (and still get better mileage than my truck, but still!).

Anyway, I wish you luck, and suggest you check with your insurance company to find out how much your insurance will go up, and possibly with your bank to find out how much you can afford to borrow (always cheaper than going through a dealer, believe me!).
