I've watched a lot of Jackie Chan movies for Jackie Chan, but it didn't occur to me that there might be other reasons to watch them. I don't have a crush or anything, I just like Jackie Chan. He makes me smile and the stunts are cool.

I tried to watch some of his really early Chinese kung fu movies though and oh dear god are they bad. They are so bad. I do not recommend them, he doesn't make up for the sheer awful.

But yes generally if I hear Jackie Chan is in a movie, I'll watch it too.

I also am in this boat, Jackie Chan is in something? I am there! I have seen some terrible movies because of this.
