What have you watched purely for your favourite actor?

I recently watched Dark Angel for Jensen Ackles and I'm not sure it was worth it. (He was about the only good thing in it)

Cabin Pressure for BC. I liked it but not so much...

I watched an episode of Dollhouse for Matt Keeslar (the Middleman). He was all biceps, all the time in it, and I still couldn't get through the entire ep.

Michael Fassbender: Hunger and Eden Lake. Both were great movies but really depressing/graphic. Probably would not have watched on my own.

Karl Urban: Doom (which I actually sort of love), Priest (AWFUUUULLL and he wasn't even in it that much), Dredd (which ended up being pretty good).

I've watched everything with the Whose Line is it Anyway cast in it. Two And A Half men being the most recent example.

I have tivo wishlists set up for my favorite actors, so I have watched a ton of things I wouldn't typically watch. Currently I've been watching Necessary Roughness (which I don't care for) for David Anders. And I have an episode of Murder She Wrote to watch for Andrea Parker.

I watched this movie called "slipstream" because Mark Hamill was in it. Also Guyver and Black Magic Woman. They're all awful, awful films. The only thing he did recently that was pretty good is voice acting.

Snow White and the Huntsman for Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theorn, which wasn't great but the costumes were pretty. Aoen flux for Charlize Theorn, which was terrible. Probably lots more that I can't think of right now as well.

Also I am starting to watch the Almighty Johnson's for Dean O'Gorman but tbh I really enjoy it so that's not a hard-ship.

Dark angels is brilliant. F U.

Worlds better then Supernatural.

Oh man. So many things. Too many things. So many terrible, no good, very bad things. So many terrible things that I own. My movie collection is made up of bad movies featuring my favorite actors.

You want bad Costas Mandylor? I got your 'Dr. Chopper' right here, you poor bastard. You want bad C. Thomas Howell? Haha, take a seat. This might take a while. You ever seen a little movie called 'The Davinci Treasure?' Do yourself a favor and don't. Don't even get me started on that time I had a Joe Estevez phase. I blocked out the title of the one that was just scenes of Challenger exploding over and over and over. Now, A Talking Cat!?! is actually a fun movie despite Eric Roberts. Rowdy Roddy Piper pretty much rocks most of the time, though he also tends to do the forgettable.

I watched all of Young Hercules for Dean O'Gorman and wee Ryan Gosling (I also had a vague memory of watching it when I was young) but I actually enjoyed it for the cheesy 90s goodness that it is.
I also sat through 2 and a half seasons of Beastmaster just to watch Daniel Goddard run around in practically nothing. Some episodes were better than others.

SO much for Chris Pine. Let's see...People Like Us, This Means War, Unstoppable, Small Town Saturday Night, Smokin' Aces, Blind Dating and Surrender, Dorthy.

Back when I was obsessed with SPN, My Bloody Valentine for Jensen Ackles (probably a few other things I don't remember) and multiple things for Jared, including his Young MacGyver pilot. Haha.

Some of them were good, some...very much weren't, but I don't really regret watching any of them. (Though the closest I came was with Small Town Saturday Night. Chris sang and it was glorious, but the entire movie is boring as fuck. I skipped half of it, I think.)

Conan the Destroyer, a movie that manages to have Grace Jones, Tracy Walter, and Mako and still be terrible.

I originally saw Amazing Grace for Ioan Gruffudd. Then, years later, I went back and watched it again for Benedict Cumberbatch.

That's a crying shame, OP, because the first season of Dark Angel ain't bad. The second season (i.e. the one that really involves Jensen Ackles) is pretty much universally reviled, even among people who are otherwise fans.

When I was but a tiny X-Phile, I watched every film John Neville was in.

...he was in a lot of "typically Canadian" movies; i.e., "We are all straaaaaaaange north of the 49th parallel and here is the proof" e.g. The Lotus Eaters, Whale Music, and a bunch of others I have repressed the names of. So, this one time, I watched this movie that was a sendup of a Canadian production being made (this was in the days when CanCon was a viable investment for those with enough money to sink into it), where John Neville played a crazy old actor, trying to star in this movie that literally blew up in everyone's faces.

Then there was the one where he was the crazy old cat guy, and his Estranged Family(TM) moved in to keep him company and provide hospice care for him.

Come to think of, crazy old guys seemed to have been his stock in trade, which was very disappointing to the X-Phile in me, who would have rather seen more of the dastardly Well-Manicured Man.

I'm in the middle of watching an episode of Dexter for Julian Sands. Mmm, Julian Sands. ♥

Some of Karl Urban's early movies...that one with demons was BAD, but DEAR GOD was Karl fucking SEXY in it...D:

I've watched a lot of Jackie Chan movies for Jackie Chan, but it didn't occur to me that there might be other reasons to watch them. I don't have a crush or anything, I just like Jackie Chan. He makes me smile and the stunts are cool.

Diplomatic Immunity. I watched it purely for Craig Parker.

Dragon Wars (D Wars) for Jason Behr. Holy fuck, bad movie. But he's so damn *pretty*....
