I'm a fan of the original series and the original cast movies.

I loved the reboot & I love Into Darkness. I understand why some people don't like them & for the most part, I agree with the assessment (not enough focus on characters, too much focus on action, I get it, I do), I still enjoy the movies. Could they be better? Hell yes.

Me liking Into Darkness because you hated Into Darkness does NOT make me an idiot or a bad fan. It makes YOU sound like a whiny, entitled, 5-year-old who just wants everything their own way.

It's fine that you don't like something other people like, but get off your fucking high horse & grow up. That's the way the world works.

Everyone. Likes. Different. Things.

I love the one or two people in this thread using the word entitled. You are clearly idiots who need a dictionary. I get that you're upset someone is dissing what you like, but there's no need to pull this shit.

Maybe you ought to take your own advice and get off your own high horse and grow up? When it comes to opinions it goes both ways, and you victimized anons always forget this. I'd also like to know why you are so insulted by this secret when it isn't insulting you personally.

Somebody sounds furious.

You sure like whining when somebody doesn't agree with OP sentiment.

Grow the fuck up already.

As if you weren't furious at all a few hours ago right?

Great arguments by the way.

You can't pull the "opinions go both ways!" argument after the OP literally said that they lost respect for someone because they endorsed what they consider to be a bad movie.

That's not the OP expressing their opinion about a movie that's the OP being clearly incapable of understanding that people like different things AND that it's part of an actors *job* to endorse the movies they're in.

The secret is about Simon Pegg not just "someone" and the problem isn't whether he or anyone likes "different" things than OP. Christ. Also whether or not it's an actor's job to endorse a movie has nothing to do with the problem either.

Gosh, thank goodness, I was beginning to think I was the only one!
