If you were getting the amount of $$ Pegg was, and all you had to do was promote the film you're in that allows you to make the films you really want to make as a director/producer...

Fuck, there are people who do it to keep far lower-level jobs than in the movies. I'd say by and large, it's part of day-to-day life, with occasional breaks for principles. That's reality, whether some anons around here want to accept that or no.
