So penises, right? There's generally a lot of focus on them in slash fic? Are you into reading about them in a fictional context? Do you spend time on phallic description when you're writing m/m or do you focus on other things?

I'm absolutely not being snippy or sarcastic here - I'm a confessedly peen-avoidant lesbian. I'm sure they're lovely for those that have them, but I don't want them anywhere near my porn. So I'm really curious about other gay girls who feel differently about that.

I generally don't describe the penises in great detail. I think the most description of them I give is "they exist." Because some people write allll the details down to the length and color of pubes, and that just weirds me out.

I've got nothing against cock, but it's not what I want to focus on if I'm going to make something extra hot, you know? What's hot for me is the suggestion of cock. Which goes for sex scenes in general I guess, I prefer the suggestion of certain things rather than a *ahem* blow-by-blow description of what's happening. Mostly I focus on sensations of touch/taste/smell, feelings of pleasure and contentment, expressions of trust, that kind of thing, rather than just the purely physical part.
