Just twice, both when I was around 16, both closet cosplay and objectively TERRIBLE. First one was Duo Maxwell, which involved plain black pants, a black t-shirt with a notch cut out of the collar, and white fabric TAPED to the inside of that and around the cuffs, with a black baseball cap and a brown yard braid. Which was tied to the cap. I didn't even do bangs. Second time was getting roped into cosplaying Hisoka with a few friends at the time, and involved a borrowed and slightly too small denim jacket (with my own jeans and orange t-shirt), and REALLY bad yellow (!) hairspray.

For the record, my natural hair is almost black and curly.

I did not pull off playing skinny teenage boys very well.

I have considered cosplaying again (ten years later!), but it'd be more, um, manageable. Like, regular clothes, maybe a Night Vale Community Radio t-shirt, and a name sticker that says, 'Hi, my name is Intern [name]'. That's easy, right?
