This makes me think of the book The Corset Diaries; there's a scene where the main guy is getting sexed up and he's mid sentence when he goes something like, "Hngggrrrwaaa..." The main female character threw him right off his game at that point, and it wasn't awkward or weird, but funny as fark. Actually doing this to someone and making them lose all grasp on how to speak is downright AWESOME. I never liked the useage of "mmm" and "Umm" and such because it sounds less sexy and more like they forgot what they wanted to say... but when it's done for laughs, it's GREAT.
