But I liked him. He was good.

I love him. He's not my absolute favourite (that would be Four, though I get the sense that Twelve is going to steal my heart), but he's definitely my favourite of the reboot. I don't know why he doesn't get more love.

I used to be one of those people, but a friend was watching the show and told me how much she loved Nine. So I rewatched Nine's season and realized I actually liked him more than I originally remembered. I think it's that there's been so much of Ten and Eleven, Nine got kind of forgotten about. Which sucks because he was actually fun in a lot of ways. :/

Nine is my favourite as well. I didn't even start liking Ten until Martha came along.

Nine is my favourite of the NuWho Doctors. I'm usually more Classic Who, and my overall favs are Three and Seven, but Nine is well up there.

That said, I haven't been in the DW fandom for about two years now, so I've no idea who talks about which Doctors anymore.

Secret 1 - Doctor Who, the Ninth Doctor

It makes me sad that he's the Doctor who everyone ignores or just doesn't care about, think about, or talk about. I wouldn't care about hate. It's the lack of people to talk to about him that bothers me.

Yeah, I know. Just one season. But of all of them, classic as well as new, he's the one I love the most, and the one I love with the least qualification.

I love Nine. I think a lot of people ignore him because he's older and Matt & David are more typical fangirl idols. But, Nine's the Doctor that introduced me to Who and he's awesome. I wish he'd gotten more than one season.

He's my and my bff's favorite doctor. Which is funny, because I think Rose is one of my least enjoyed companions. But my love for this season overshines any of that. So yeah, you're not alone there.

I appreciate 9 for being a mostly different take on the Doctor. Matt Smith is just too much like David Tennant for me and I'm worried Peter Capaldi is just going to give us more of the same...

I love Nine too! Like many here, he was my first Doctor, so he holds a very special place in my heart thanks to that. Even though I grew to like Ten as well, I was so sad to see him go after just the one season. So you are definitely not alone, anon! :)
