...the least appreciated Doctor? Really?

Do people only know his costume and not his personality?
Is he often reduced to a single moment?
Do people frequently call him the worst Doctor ever?
Do people accuse him of killing the show?
Do people say "Oh, we ignore that, he's not canon"
Have the vast majority of fans never even given him a go?

I'm not trying to be a Classic Whovian elitist, I'm really not, but although Nine doesn't have as many fangirls, he still has a hell of a lot of love, and people know who he is and that he's worth appreciating even if he's not their favourite.

That's not very easy to say about Six.

LOL quite, I was suprised that most of the comments here were "I love nine too!" and not, you know, pointing out that he really isn't unappreciated or ignored. Most problems are with the fact he had one series and unlike both six and eight, who I would argue are the unappreciated ones, willingly left rather than having no choice.

True. It's not a matter of elitism, because no one really dislikes Nine (boring/depressing is the largest criticism I've come across) but while he's not the most appreciated New Doctor, the Classic Doctors (Six, One, Seven and Eight the worst) fans would love that kind of 'lack' of appreciation.

I fucking adore Six and will fight anyone who says otherwise until I'm satisfied they genuinely gave him a chance :)
