Well, I don't think much of the opinions of people who dismiss all YA novels ever as badly-written or childish, either, so if that's what you're saying, fine.

If on the other hand you're saying that no one can ever think any YA novel is badly-written or childish if they like this series, then naaahhhhh. I'm sure there's worse. I don't know what it is off the top of my head, but I am confident it exists. Maybe some of those unspeakable 'for kids' media tie-in novels.

I've seen some avid Twilight-haters on tumblr/Facebook who absolutely adore The Mortal Instruments. Which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't openly mock Twilight for being cliche and badly written, while claiming TMI is some sort of amazing masterpiece of literature.
