1. I rarely ship pairings that are canon or become canon.
2. I'm all for happily-ever afters for the pairings I ship. Even the oddest of odd couples get their happy end in my head.

Why then, when a couple I support does become canon, I get oddly fascinated by the thought of them breaking up (and never getting back together again)? It's not like I suddenly hate the couple, I love them just as much, I just want them to break up.

You are insufferable. You're a very talented, popular fanartist yet 90% of your art blog consists of self-pity and fishing for validation from your followers. And then you wonder why you lose some of those followers each time you do that! Time to look in the mirror! Practice more on your art if you're that unsatisfied by it. Whining will NEVER help you with that.

Also, on the rare occasion you do post new art, maybe don't re-blog it fifteen times in the following day. YES WE SAW IT don't shove it in our faces!

Secret because: I'd have unfollowed your sorry ass ages ago but I know you'd notice my absence and that would give you yet another reason to whine. I pity you too much to leave.

spoilers for The Great Gatsby?

Not secret: When I was little, my older sister read this book to me but, because I was so young, changed the ending. In her version, Gatsby is shot but doesn't die and these two end up traveling the world together while Gatsby's body, heart and mind recover, and he learns what real love is through friendship, etc. I didn't realize until I was much older that that isn't what actually happened.

Secret: I hate the original. Despite it with a passion of a thousand suns. I can't help but feel like the 'message/lesson' behind the original is cheap in comparison to my sister's version.

Secret because: Obvious reasons, etc.

The term Ishvalan refers to the indigenous people of the nation called Ishval.

And the "BALAN" in "IshBALAN" sounds like "Ballin'"/"Balling", something like "awesome", not unlike the aura/style of "Gangsta" around rap musicians, their followers, and the people online and irl who take the concept and try to imitate it or make light of it.

spoilers for Iron Man 3

I haven't noticed anyone else in the fandom who was at all bothered by his "playing doctor" in some impoverished corner of India without a medical license or any sort of formal medical training.

It really made the "not that kind of doctor" joke in the Iron Man 3 stinger ring hollow and hypocritical.

spoilers for Naruto Shippuden - Road to Ninja

I always daydream about Menma being Naruto's twin brother in canon. I bet they would have the craziest, yet most amusing, sibling dynamics. And I seriously ship them together, right from the moment they appeared in the movie. Where are the fanfics at?

Secret because: ...They kind of tried to murder each other in the movie. And due to the eventual "gay twincest, what the fuck, dude!"

spoilers for Psycho Pass

If they meet again in Season 2, there's a good chance that one of them will die. I'll pray on the tiny chance they both end up dead by the end of the season.

I don't even ship them all that much, but I think that's the least painful out of the possible Urobutcher outcomes.

"Urobutcher" is a reference to the writer of the series, Gen Urobuchi, who has a history of putting characters through horrific scenarios and deaths.

Secret because: Anyone who's watched this knows this guy is a scumbag, a sexually coercive guard who takes advantage of prisoners, and who racially and sexually objectifies every inmate. What self-respecting (POC!) woman would even feel the tiniest bit of attraction to him?

There's something about the way he acts that caricaturizes the vile role he's playing, something that makes it seem easier for me to enjoy yet loathe him. There's no point in trying to rationalize this right now, just avoid it and shame myself and my kinks.

But the fact that Irene explicitly drugged him, made out with him and at the very least tied him up and took all of his clothes off still makes me really uncomfortable.
