Like Anne was trying to explain to him in the comments, people don't know he is autistic or if he's having a bad day. They just see an angry loud person and react accordingly (I would flee for the hills D:)

I had a class with an autistic guy once. He seemed like a pretty severe case, saying inappropriate things, calling his mom in the middle of class while someone else was talking, etc. But once you pointed out that what he did was wrong, he would apologize. I get that there are differences in severity, but it is possible to be autistic and not be a jackass.
