I was dolled up and drove "the priest" with horse and carriage during a dramatized walk between the local church and the ruins of the church down in the next village. It was fun.

You got to drive a horse and cart? D: I have always wanted to do that (well, I also want to learn how to ride a horse).

Yup. It was a four wheeled thing with ironclad wheels of this type . ( Third image.) I've been lucky enough to get to borrow a Northswedish drafthorse to ride and drive as much as I like, for just a bit of helping out in the barn in exchange. It's the old lady in my icon.

How are the resources for that where you live? Riding schools, dude ranch etc?

Mmm there might be some places around here. I live in Oklahoma after all. I'd have to see if I could find someplace online (or maybe through FB). We had a horse when I was a kid but I honestly don't remember riding him at all!
