Well, I am back from the Mumford and Sons concert. it was at least 95 degrees during the day and we spent the nights trying to sleep through hoards of drunken fans. My muscles ache, my skin is burnt, and I spent 2 hours in gridlocked traffic trying to leave but MUMFORD AND SONS WAS AMAZING!

They played my favorite song (Dust Bowl Dance) and my sister's favorite (Holland Road and The Cave). They also covered TWO Beatles songs (Come Together and With a Little Help From My Friends). We got many videos and pictures, just have to go through them all. :3

What did y'all do this weekend?

I was dolled up and drove "the priest" with horse and carriage during a dramatized walk between the local church and the ruins of the church down in the next village. It was fun.

You got to drive a horse and cart? D: I have always wanted to do that (well, I also want to learn how to ride a horse).

I've been in work this weekend. Not feeling too great, so stayed home otherwise.

Just watched Star Trek: Into Darkness and mourning the two hours of my life I'll never get back. It was terrible.

Drove 400 miles for work.

Visited my grandmother since she was in the area. Her creepy friend was there. It wasn't too cool. But I also stayed with some relatives who were pretty cool, I wish I'd had more time with them.

Now I have homework to do but I am really fucking tired.

I made cookie cake, but it turned out really dry compared to all of the other times I've made it :c
Other than that, I read fanfic for the first time since classes started

Bought new pairs of jeans, started yet again a new character in Skyrim, had to pack my stuff cause I'm going back to Uni. I was also supposed to write a cover letter for this year's obligatory internship, and I didn't.

I spent Saturday preparing for my trip to Europe (I leave in less than two weeks so I've been running errands related to it) and also going to yoga. I worked at a farmer's market today and will probably knit and watch Netflix tonight.

Mostly just playing some video games and chilling, also helping my mum decide how to arrange the living room as she wants to get a new sofa set and TV since our old ones are getting somewhat past-it.

I work Saturdays and get Sunday and Monday off, so my weekend just started. I intend to spend it writing fanfic at Starbucks (pumpkin spice latte! \o/) and arting.

Worked, got into a fight AT work, boss didn't care, played Metal Gear Rising, now I'm back at work this afternoon, and I'll probably go home and finish Saints Row IV after.

Glad you enjoyed the concert. :) tbh I've never listened to their music ever tho.

A couple other friends and I went to our other friend's new apartment yesterday and played Pandemic and Fluxx (star fluxx and cthulhu fluxx). Also we walked into Westwood Village and went to Umami Burger. Also we would have played The Resistance but there were only 4 people there. There have been 4 gatherings since I gave Matt (apartment dude) The Resistance for his birthday and we have yet to play it!! D:

Today my parents and I went to my aunt's to give some gifts to my cousin for his 3rd birthday (!) and to check out their new house!

We went to the Hobbit Cafe today for lunch in Houston. I had the Smaug's Delight. My husband had the buffalo burger and my daughter had the quesadilla and a Baggins Banana. There was some great Hobbit and LotR decorations on the inside.

Absolutely wonderful. ♥ Friday evening I went to a— I guess you can call it an art exhibit?— with a friend. Then we had dinner, and cuddled on the couch watching Netflix. I ended up spending the night there, and I didn't get home until past noon. Then we went to a football game later that evening (I'm not a football person, but he is, and his enthusiasm is really, really catching, so I actually find games quite fun when he's around), and it was pretty much amazing. Plus, another one of his friends came along, and I ended up really liking her, so that was nice.

Today's been more quiet— getting some homework that's due tonight done, finishing my readings for tomorrow's class— but I feel pretty content overall.

I went to Dublin to get snake food on Saturday and on Sunday I played a couple of rounds of Mass Effect multiplayer with my Krogan soldier Urdnot Worf (he of the electric green armour)

Had work yesterday, so it's still mostly starting. Had some drinks and just chilled with friends last night, relaxed and drank tea this morning, spent most of this afternoon watching the football game at a bar with a friend of mine (we won!). So all in all it's been pretty good and relaxing.

Got a great weekend.
- Traveled home to my mother with a thirteen-kilograms bag full of her dietary needs, things she can't buy at home and my clothes in dire need of tailoring (I've lost weight).
- Tried on an awful amount of clothes, fortunately, she can sew, so most of my clothes has been salvaged and are still wearable.
- Exterminated locusts from the fence, got scratched with thorns and barbed wire.
- Tried to cut up the wood my mother has bought for winter. I'm hopeless with an axe.
- Ate our last watermelon of this summer, it was the tastiest of them. :-)
- Got visited by my brother, sister-in-law, and niece, they left my brother
with us to cut up the wood, had several chances to scare him with my new haircut.
- Watched the first episode of our X-Factor's new season (casting). Three of the four mentors have been replaced, and the "new guys" work well enough.
- Ditched seeing RED on TV, and instead read my thirteen-year-old niece's first attempt at "serious" writing: apparently she writes an anime-screenplay-type thingie and illustrates it (with anime-style drawings), and I'm torn between being scared at the realization that my little niece is a weeabo, and being insanely proud at her basic worldbuilding, her healthy, teenager-ly handling of love, actually her approach of dating in general, and her talent at drawing.
- Was (still am) ridiculously proud and amazed how she is like me, when I was her age (except that she's well-adjusted and great).
- Came back to the city, went to a free concert with my best friend (Kutya vacsorája [Dog's Dinner] for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgfrHk2lDdM) by the own band of the drummer of her favorite band, got realized that it's not my style of music, still had a good time, made fun of the nationalists wandering in from the neighboring stages, and walked a bit in the dark after.
- Worked a little on my Genderbent and my Racebent Grimm Fancast.
