I spent all of last night and most of today writing a paper, and I'm about to finish the rest of my required reading for the weekend and write a thankfully much shorter paper.

College. It's for the English Capstone course that my school requires every senior to take before they can graduate, and the topic varies depending on which professor is teaching it that semester. This semester it's pulp magazines, and we each get to choose the genre and magazine we'll be focusing on. So far it's a pretty tough course, but it's also been very rewarding. This week's paper was partially about the pros and cons of three forms of archival dissemination: hard copies, microfiche/film and digital, and also about which pulp genre and title I'll be seeking out (I chose sci-fi because duh) and why.

And as soon as my latest dose of caffeine kicks in, I'm going to write a short paper on chapter three of Ulysses for my Contemporary Brit. Lit. class. Joy.
