Secret 9 - Once Upon a Time

[Picture is Regina, as portrayed by Lana Parrilla, and Emma Swan, as portrayed by Jennifer Morrison, from the TV show "Once Upon a Time". Regina has olive skin and medium-length dark hair. She is wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt. Emma has blonde hair reaching past her shoulders and light skin. She is wearing a sleeveless white blouse. They are standing close to each other in a garden or park of sorts, almost kind of smiling at each other?]

I'm so glad they were Jossed. The butthurt has been wonderful. I still can't believe there were so many delusional people thinking that it was actually going to happen!

Jossed = a possible event, backstory, pairing, characteristic, etc. that wasn't, strictly speaking, not canon, but that is suddenly declared non-canon by the work itself or by the people behind the work, doing away entirely with the possibility it ever had. The name comes from the TV writer "Joss Whedon".

It wasn't really "Jossed" then, because it took a pretty terrible misreading of the series to even consider the ship possible.

I think the requirement is for the thing, prior to being Jossed, to be technically not "Not Canon". Like, it can require all sorts of mental contortions and distortions of the canon universe to explain or justify, but nothing is actually explicitly denying it in-canon or by the authors (until it got Jossed).
