Honestly I don't get it

People who think "my headacanon is that [character] is trans /gay/ a POC/has a disability/ etc. BUT YOU CAN'T DISAGREE OR YOU'RE ****IST"

How does this make any sense.

Do they think they're headcanon is changing the world?


I mean I get it if the person disagreeing is being a bigot about it. But if they're just going "nah...I don't really see it for this character" how is that at ALL any kind of bigotry?

Headcanons are just that HEADCANONS. As in 'a theory in my head'. *shrug*
