I don't see a downside. Then again, maybe I'm biased because in the past I have discussed stuff as the OP. (Normally for clarification but occasionally to answer a question.)

I mean, shiz, normally when I respond to a secret I address it to the OP. I tell them what they did was stupid, or that they're cute, or I question them. Why shouldn't they respond if I'm talking directly to them?
