Hun, what you experienced is not uncommon. It is in fact extremely normal, and dare the most excepted form of sexuality there is in the western world. You don't need a flashy title to explain what you are, because a good chunk of the population is exactly the same.

Your experience with other human beings is dramatically different than mine if you think that "most people" are essentially asexual (to the point of experiencing no sexual attraction or desire) when they're not in a romantic relationship.
