Hello, fandomsecrets! I hope everyone's having a lovely Tuesday.

I recently got a pasta machine, and spent far too much of yesterday making bacon cheeseburger ravioli. Earlier that day I made this tasty bread, which was so well-received that I got

mechanosapience to make it again today.

I made a mess!

Okay, I laughed.

I made cupcakes this afternoon. My sister wanted to make these http://www.fabhousewife.com/hostess-with-the-mostest-popcorn-cupcakes/ specifically but we didn't have the ingredients. Still, cupcakes! :D

Cupcakes are awesome! I promised a friend vanilla cupcakes for her birthday; I should start looking for recipes. I've seen the popcorn thing in a book before, and it's adorable!

I got a pasta machine many years ago, in the hopes to use it for polymer clay stuff. But I've never actually ended up using it, either for clay or for pasta. :\

If you still have it and it's still clean, homemade pasta is delicious.

Miso soup. The refrigerator dashi was starting to get a little moldy.

Eep, mold! Definitely a sign from your food to cook more often. I hope it was tasty.

I lined a whole bunch of sketches in GIMP, and was just working on another one. :)

Awesome! I dabble a bit in drawing, but I never had the technology or know-how to do much with them on the computer, so I'm already envious of your skill.

My dude and I made a cake a few days ago and have been cobbling together a kitchen island out of random stuff.

That's very cool; I kind of wish I could do the same, because counter-space in my kitchen is definitely at a premium. (And cake is always a winner.)

I am currently making homemade tomato sauce and I'm in the middle of knitting this giant blanket that seems to be neverending!

I'm constantly fiddling about in photoshop, but out of my recent fiddlings, I'm most proud of this graphics set.

I've also made new strides with my writing! It' been slow-going as of late, but I actually have time this week to devote to it, so I'm aiming to get more done.

Fanworks: I've been on a spate of writing Leverage fic. It's kind of ridiculous, actually, I can't stop.

Actual craft: attempted to wrangle 20 Korean kindergartners age 3 to 6 in the making of an 'alphabet caterpillar'. Some kids just liked the coloring, some kids just liked the cutting out, three or four of them just wanted to sit in teacher's lap, most of them got their letters confused, but we did finish out the hour with one complete caterpillar.

I loom knit a scarf! It's black and red and fuzzy. I don't think it'll be warm enough for the depths of winter, but I'm looking forward to being able to wear it when it's cold but not too cold.

And I wrote 300 words on a fic I've been stalled on. So that's like progress.

I seem to to have discovered this thing for vandalizing cheescake fantasy art that comes across my dash (of the Royo and Bell/Valejo flavors.)

Curiously my half-assed photoshop job for this one turned out sexier than the original:
