How about stop worrying about it and like who you like rather than make your sexuality your entire personality.

How about not assuming that because someone adopts a label, it becomes their entire personality.

Dude: labels are useful. Having one doesn't mean it dominates your personality. What it does it make it way easier to find dates and affinity groups. Don't knock it.

I think, rather, than not discussing it, the better choice is probably to talk about it and if anyone gives you shit for describing it wrong, tell them to go to hell. Because it'll make you a lot happier in the long run, and really, anyone who wants to be an ass about that sort of thing isn't worth worrying about.

To add: the kind of people who bother you about it online are a bit unlikely to actually say something in person. They might write something angry on their tumblr about you but you'll never see it.

People like that are often cowards.

Had the same conclusion you did, OP. The bisexuality vs. pansexuality shit just makes me want to crawl into a closet and never fuck again.

Don't take it to heart. I know we live in the age of tumblr and a lot of people have a thousand terms to define what they are, male, female, third gender, no gender, wolfunicornfairyprincess, but that doesn't mean you have to change what you identify as because of this.
