I know this is probably a troll since how many times have we gone over this? But I'm going to indulge.

Friendship and love are not (and should not be) mutually exclusive.

Your lover should be someone you would be friends with. You should have things in common. You should be able to enjoy things with them.

Not all friendships =/= 'in love', but all in love relationships should = friendships in my opinion.
