lol, didn't Darian say that seeing Rini going off with Hotaru was liking giving away his daughter on her wedding day? I think that's pretty heavy subtext, in a manga that was full of girl/girl subtext. (And flat out lesbians, hello Haruka and Michiru!)

Secret 2 - Sailor Moon

Personally, I (f) had a best female friend during childhood and we both wanted it to be romantic when we were in our teens. (Unfortuately at different points in time so it never happened, but all for the best.) Soooooo you're not convincing me.

I used to write fic of these two, and of myself and my best female friend (around the same time in my life too). So this f!s is def wank. =P

And I feel sorry for people who think friendship and romantic love can’t exist at the same time. I believe that you can love and be in love with someone without either one taking away from the other. Also, realistically, I don’t think anyone would agree that friendship and sexual attraction have to be mutually exclusive. I don’t even usually ship best friends.
