Secret 8 - Wicked, Berserk

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-09-12 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Picture is the poster of the musical play "Wicked", featuring a sort of minimalist art style, with a green skinned woman with red lips, long black hair, black clothes and a black witch hat smiling lopsidedly as a woman with pale skin and white hair, hat and clothes whispers to her ear. The witch's eyes are covered by the hat. To the right is a poster copying it, with a man (Guts? from the manga/anime Berserk?) wearing black clothes (a cowl?) with the upper half of his face obscured and red crooked lines where his eyes go, making the same lopsided smile. Griffith from Berserk, a very feminine looking man, also with pale skin and dressed in white is whispering to Guts, but he isn't wearing a hat. The first poster says "Wicked: A New Musical. Music & Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz", while the copy poster says "BERSERK: A New Musical".]

They're not a perfect parallel, but the songs "Defying Gravity" and "For Good" make me think of Griffith and Guts's relationship.
