And thus, why I usually keep my distance from live-action fandoms. No need to consider what ink words, digital drawings, or computer polygons think (or choose not to think) about the stories I want to write using their likenesses.

Not to say I'm mad at Quinto. It's gotten irritating the way people keep asking actors about fandom pairings as if they're to be expected to spend their weekends combing the internet for the naughtiest fanworks using their faces whilst giggling into their handkerchiefs (because even though plenty of fanstuff isn't porn, it's porn most people mean to imply when they ask these damn questions), and I'm not surprised by responses that are less and less amused by it. It's especially poor form when it's RPS. Jesus, people, I'm as socially awkward as the next nerd, but stop it.
