Can't get excited over this. It's like wanting a new Batman movie and instead they give you a Booster Gold film. Sure, it's in the same universe but you wanted a Batman film.


(Mind you, I would kill for a Booster Gold movie.)

I'm not super super excited over this, but I am happy to have more Harry Potter verse movies to look forward in the future. HP makes me feel like a kid again and I enjoy going to them with my mom. *Is secretly 10*

Edit: Okay, I lied. I AM super excited over this. I can't wait for the resurgence of fic and art.

So that's what that was about. (I've only been on tumblr for literally a few seconds today, but saw the words Harry Potter. I didn't care enough to finish reading or Google it.)

So... Cool. I probably won't see it as I haven't seen the other films yet and didn't quite finish the books, but this is good news for the fandom. Enjoy it, guys.

Been reading AIs and Lullabies, an Avengers fic where Tony is suddenly 4 and everyone has to deal with it. And of course Tony at that age suffered emotional abuse from evil Howard Stark and Bruce knows all the right things to say to make him feel safe.

I like the idea, but I'm getting worn out by a Bruce that doesn't seem terribly Bruce-like.

It's talking about HP 8 - not any of the supplementary material being made into a movie.

It even confirms Fantastic Beasts further down the page.

Rowling would be penning a screenplay inspired by Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbook "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and featuring the adventures of the book’s fictitious author, Newt Scamander. Although that film will be set in the same wizarding world as the Harry Potter books, it will not be part of (nor is it a prequel or sequel to) the Harry Potter series."
