So you couldn't ship him with girls who he has interacted with for 2 seasons and has deep relationships with because it's too OOC but crossover pairings are totally sensible and in-character?

Unless I've read it wrong, OP doesn't ship him with the girls because they don't think they're compatible, not because they think it's ooc. What OP thought was ooc was the slash.
