I'll gladly let you fight your own fights, but I'll make no excuses for getting my rocks off thinking of homosexual sex. But it's not like I feel any need to tell homosexual persons I meet, so you shouldn't have a problem with it. Basic politeness is a good thing.

I don't have a problem with that. I don't care what sexual fantasies people have. I have all sorts myself.

By fetishizing I meant straight girls who think having a gay friend is soooo cool because you get to do all the girly things with them but they're also guys so like, you can get naked in front of them and they won't even care, tee-hee! Or dudes who think lesbians only exist to get them off and can't seem to separate their fantasy from real relationships that don't involve them.

I've gotta say, your two examples have a very different level of skeeviness. Using gay dudes like fashion accessories? Not cool. Using lesbians to get your rocks off while possibly being super creepy? Waaaay less cool. :/

I guess. I'm not really trying to make it a contest. These are just the two most common things I see and they both bother me a lot.

Fair enough. I thought you were trying to make some equivalency point, which was where my problem stemmed from. That second example I would definitely call fetishization, but I'm less sure about what to call the first.
