I agree with you.

I mean, regardless of the actual myth or story, the show is different. See also: Herakles (or Heracles) vs Hercules.

that's not an issue of myth vs show! herakles is his greek name, hercules the roman.

Duh. But as far as the Disney movie goes, they combined Greek story with Roman name.
