Wut. Even if he's odd-looking, he's way too good looking for Snape. Snape's supposed to be skinny and palid, and compared to dying plants and spiders, with a huge hooked nose. Murphy's got model-like bone structure going on.

He could act it, but there's lots of people who could play the part and look more suited.

I'm not saying that he is the perfect facial representative of Snape (see comments above), but that I could see his acting skills make a good Snape. It's all hypothetical. I just think, he'd bring some interesting nauances to the character, if he were to magically take Rickman's place (which will never happen).

There are people who are more suited for Snape, but I just said if he put on a wig and snarled, I could see it. That's all.
