I could see him as Snape... a younger version. I think he'd so some good sneering and work a black wig.

If they had cast all of Snape's generation younger (which they certainly could have), he would have been amazing. Maybe it would have seemed OOC for Snape to be too conventionally attractive, though, all the Alan Rickman stans aside.

That's true. He is rather attractive. Perhaps with a prosthetic nose and greasy hair, he'd fit more in the role? Of course he'd still have those big eyes, brown/black contacts aside. But if we can have aged up characters, I can see people turning a blind eye to a wide-eyed Snape.

Wut. Even if he's odd-looking, he's way too good looking for Snape. Snape's supposed to be skinny and palid, and compared to dying plants and spiders, with a huge hooked nose. Murphy's got model-like bone structure going on.

He could act it, but there's lots of people who could play the part and look more suited.

I'm not saying that he is the perfect facial representative of Snape (see comments above), but that I could see his acting skills make a good Snape. It's all hypothetical. I just think, he'd bring some interesting nauances to the character, if he were to magically take Rickman's place (which will never happen).

There are people who are more suited for Snape, but I just said if he put on a wig and snarled, I could see it. That's all.
