I have a policy. If a name is over six letters, I don't judge people when they get it wrong, especially if it's an old name with the possibility of variants, because way back when we didn't have spell check. Correct spelling has only been a thing for the last hundred or so years.

Personally, the only spelling I can't seem to be able to stand is when people fuck up "vicious." "Viscous" is a different word entirely, folks.

Agreed with you on vicious/vicous, and on a similar note, it always made my teeth grind with HP's Lucius Malfoy being misspelled as "Luscious" (and X-Men's Rogue as "Rouge").

Luscious Malfoy is the best misspelling. It is hilarious. I always love it.
