I'm glad you have something that makes you feel happy, but to me it's just the other side of the same coin. Some guys hate on women for being fat and others hate on them for being "anorexic".

You can complain about "thin privilege" all you want, I'm what people would call fat myself and I'm proud of who I am. But I think hating on thin women is just as disgusting. So many girls get shamed for looking "anorexic" or "like skeletons" and it all comes down to: "If I can't fap to you, I don't need to treat you with respect".

One of my best friends is really thin, she can't help it. She can't just change her metabolism because some people demand her to have more ass or bigger tits or "love handles". She gets hated on frequently, people concern-troll her like crazy. She constantly jokes about how she would love to have my curves and sometimes there's so much bitterness in her words.

Tl;Dr: I will never be able to pick sides on this subject. I think all body shaming is hate, even if you disguise it as a compliment for fat ladies.

Yeah it's all part of the same problem--shaming people for their bodies. Treating them like their bodies are only worth what others value them to be.

Yeeeeeeeep. Plus, I do think "thin privilege" is a real thing -- it is really fucking easy to observe that I am generally treated kinder than my significantly fatter friends and generally ignored more than my significantly thinner friends -- but I don't think shaming thin women in turn is the way to go about dismantling that bullshit. You have to drag down the institution, not the individuals.

Moving the goalposts doesn't change that the goalposts exist in the first place.
