I hate bitches that say a fat chick should eat a salad. I hate bitches that say skinny chicks should eat a sandwich.

Can we just all agree that any kind of bodyshaming is fucked up and you should probably just shoot yourself to save the rest of us don't have to hear that kind of negative shit? I hate hearing it. God knows I've lost like 30 pounds so far, primarily because what I'm currently doing has fitness requirements and I was definitely in the red so it was simply easier on me and my life if I just sucked it up and ate Chipotle less frequently (that being said fuck health foods, I gag on that shit), but it makes me rather uncomfortable to hear anyone congratulate me--especially my mother because all that woman does is go on about how I finally look halfway decent. :\ My family, except for my father, is markedly fat-phobic...and in my mother's case it's gone straight into condescension behind closed doors. My brother has said that he's uncomfortable around fat people because they're so unattractive to him. Which I tell them is fucked up...and they just go on happily not giving a fuck. Look, the important thing is that you must be happy with the person that you are, and accept whatever consequences come of however that happens to be. Do what you've got to do, OP.

fat-phobic?

You know, we've really fucked the word phobia over in the last 10 years. "intolerant" seems much more appropriate. Very few people actually fear fat.

I rather agree with that. I like Morgan Freeman's take on "homophobia" as a word: you're not afraid, you're an asshole.
