Not in SNK fandom, but I've seen Connie/Sasha on my dash quite a few times, so I'm really doubting that het shipping is nonexistent.

In any case, I think it's a good thing that a femslash pairing is so popular when femslash is usually so ignored. From what I've seen in most anime fandoms, there's usually a juggernaut slash pairing and also a pretty popular het pairing. From what I've seen, Ymir/Christa is very popular. In fact, it has appeared on my dash more than Eren/Levi (is that the most popular slash pairing for the show? idk)

Ymir/Christa gets significant canon support which usually helps. I've never seriously shipped a femslash pairing before, but this is my favorite pairing in SnK.
