I think I might sort of be an otherkin. I would rather be a robot than a human. I say "sort of" because I don't do any otherkin bullshit. I don't pretend to be a robot in public, I don't make embarrassing posts on tumblr about how oppressed I am, I don't let my desire to be a robot affect my life in any way, and until now I have never actually expressed it anywhere to anyone. But I really hate being human and feel like I should be a robot.

I think everyone would rather be an elf, or a dragon, or a robot, than a boring human with all the imperfections of the human body. It's one thing to wish to be something else and even work on achieving it (like becoming a scientist and searching for a way to upload human conscience to a robot body or something), and another to delude yourself that you actually are something else against all reason.

Actually, even deluding yourself is ok and nobody's business, but don't expect anyone to share your beliefs.
