...If you're talking exclusively Reiner/Christa, I think your problem is in the ship itself. What with Reiner saying 'I didn't think I looked like the sort of guy who was interested in women' and Christa pledging to support Ymir literally no matter what (in a manner that would definitely be taken as romantic if one of the people involved was a dude), you picked some pretty gay characters to ship in a hetero relationship. That's the reason why there's not a lot of love for them.

If you're talking 'het in general' there's definitely stuff out there, don't worry

Except I doubt the "Reiner is gay" thing would have gotten such a boost if that scene had been translated correctly. That speech bubble was actually Ymir's, not Reiner's & basically was saying "I'm not into guys, and you don't look like the type to be interested in them either."

Even translated correctly, it's not like he makes any effort at disagreeing with her. There would've been massive "IS HE GAY??!!" speculation regardless.

I find her really forgettable myself. Like, I regularly forget she and Ymir even exist (probably because they haven't been relevant so far in the anime.)

And the anime is going to end before they get some screentime. As a fan of both Christa and Ymir I can only hope for a second season (TBH I just want the tower scene animated and wouldn't care about a second season if it wasn't for that XD).
