I was gonna say this. I don't care if there are OCs, I just want to know if it's OC-centric or the main pairing is with an OC - mostly so I can happily skip over it. (The only time I opt to read OC-centric stuff is when it's with the OC/cast of OCs exploring the canon material's universe. But otherwise, meh.) I don't see how tagging it as these things is any different than tagging it with a non-OC pairing or as gen or whatever.

Hell, I just checked AO3 and all OC-related tags are simply that - tags. No "warning: OC" tags or anything.
