Christ, no.

I've hidden fandom from my parents since I was... eleven? They wouldn't get it. They'd give me shit about it. If they knew I wrote lesbian smut about that TV show that they're already uncomfortable about me liking they'd stress out.

As far as I'm concerned fandom is necessarily a thing that I keep absolutely secret in real life. I'm not ashamed of fandom, but I'd be shamed for it without a doubt.

Nah, it's just a show that has quite a high proportion of competent women in it. I accidentally squeed about that in their presence once and they got their uncomfortable-near-feminism faces out.

No way am I even letting them know I know that such a show as OitNB even exists, let alone how much I love it, even without a fannish component.
