What about her? She was near suicidal at one point. Now she's succumbed to her pathologically lying husband for what she perceives is the good of her family. Are you saying Marie should condone her covering for Walt?

It's hard to say what Skyler deserves. I think she deserves to get some therapy and in time be able to lead a happy, fulfilled life.

But should her children by taken away from her? At this point, yes.

Junior must be almost 18. Holly deserves to live in a home which isn't threatened to be burned down by her father's unhinged ex-partners in crime.

This argument shouldn't be about what Skyler deserves or Marie's questionable motives, this argument should be about what is best for the kids. Which is probably none of these people.

Agreed. I don't even think that Jesse's thwarted attempt to burn down the house was the trigger point for when they should have been taken. The cartel stalking Walt's footsteps was much scarier to me - Jesse wouldn't have taken action to deliberately hurt Walt Jr. or Holly themselves; if they were home, I have no doubt that Jesse would have backed off immediately. You think the twins would have taken that much care? Or Gus, who threatened them directly?

The kids have been in danger for a long time and the question here isn't why Skyler had no choice or Marie's motives - it's about what's safest for the kids.

But out of both couples, Marie and Hank are significantly less likely to get the children shot or set on fire.
