There's nothing wrong with deciding to leave fandom (for whatever reason), but if you want to stick around that's perfectly normal too. (No matter your age.)
We've had this discussion so many times. I think last time I asked what 'older' people were supposed to do with their free time, and someone mentioned wine tasting. (Although in that case, why not drink your wine whilst working on your big-bang?) I suppose one could take up crocheting, but if you were so inclined you could combine that with fandom too. People CAN have multiple hobbies.
It's dumb. If you enjoy fandom, stay in fandom, if you don't, leave; age has nothing to do with it.

I admit I don't know any wine tasters, but it's as valid a hobby as any.
I wonder if those people think you can only enjoy wine THAT much once you reach a certain age...

I agree, it's fun to combine hobbies, and always nice when people pick up on your fannish references. It can be a good starting point for conversation and lead to new friendships and the like.
I wish I had a steadier hand because I'm super jealous of everyone who can do awesomely accurate and creative nail art. I love nail polish but I suck at doing anything complicated with it. Tis sad, because I'd love to be better at creating fandom inspired nails.

There is some crazy good nail art out there! I don't know how people do it (or detailed face painting).

I'm jealous of good art in general, yea; I used to draw and while I don't think I was terrible I've never been naturally gifted like some people. Oh well, it's still fun to look at other people's creations!

Yeah I try to draw too, I'm not bad but when I see good artists it just kinda boggles me. Especially when I find out they're half my age >>. It's like wtf how is it even physically possible for them to draw that well already.

What I don't have time for is tumblr.

I don't think anyone has time for tumblr. Not even the people who use it. Lmao. Tumblr is a dangerous time waster. (Yet I still like it.)

That's an excellent idea, imo.
