Re: Do/did your parents know you were involved in fandom

My parents are pros in the F&SF field, came from fandom, and raised us in nerd culture. They'd be shocked if I WEREN'T fannish. I have authentic 1970s mimeographs of the ORIGINAL Dungeons & Dragons rules, and a very long wall of floor-to-ceiling bookcases downstairs overflowing with their their genre fiction. The opposite wall is all mysteries and historical fiction. And any other spare surface (including more floor than I'd like to admit) is covered in reference books.
